This spent mag pouch I got from BDS is a pretty smart design.I use this pouch for just about anything.Spent 12 guage shells for trap and skeet,bottle of water and a bag of trail mix and other small essentials when hiking.Just anything really that fits.The split open top is good for quick access to the pouch for dumping stuff in it or grabbing whats in it.The split top also has a cover that velcros shut when you don't want your stuff to fall out when on the move.The fact I can add or subtract pals webbing pouches to it is a big plus.You can mount it on a rig or pack or use the drop leg extender and leg strap for use on a belt.It's a really usefull pouch.I called in my order and was lucky they had one in stock instead of waiting the standard production time.They sent me the 2011 catalog and now all my buddies who checked it out want to order gear from BDS.Looks like we will be placing a big order very soon!

I find this bag very easy to use and fits really weel. An idea for improvement might be to put some scuba webbing on the inside. My pistol mags on the outside seem to cave the bag in a bit.
