Compared to Blackhawk Stomp II, NAR 4 bag and Chinook Tactical Medical Kit, IMHO I believe this is the best one for the money and the medical operator. BDS tactical is the right balance of capacity and durability and modular options for the mission. *** spend the extra cash and get the Velcro internal pouches more options*** I preferred the non-padded shoulder straps so no interference with body armour...."We do not rise to the occasion, we fall to our level of training"

First let me say that BDS has amazing customer service. When I first ordered the bag I forgot to select multicam as my color. I emailed them and they updated the order immediately, no delay in the service.
Now to the bag, in case you're wondering, the bag isn't too small. The size seems just perfect. The inner pouches fit everything well, even the awkwardly sized items like blizzard blankets and cyclone BVMs. The zippered section on the inside of the flap fits most chest seals, med cases, and push packs perfectly. The outer IV pouches fit 1000 and 500 ml bags but can also be used for things like hemmorage control or anything else you can think of. I got the updated shoulder straps as well and let me say, this is probably the comfiest bag I have ever worn. It sits well when wearing IOTV's or plate carriers and doesn't ride up like most bags do or dig into your armpits. Plus the PALS webbing is great to attatch other pouches.
All in all, 5 stars. Totally worth the price and the greatest bag ever.

The Trauma Medic Bag I received is exactly what I've been looking for. This bag can hold lots of gear! One thing they should mention is that the webbed pouches inside are stretchy which allows for awkwardly shaped medical gear. The pack is slim designed to fit in the small places in a vehicle. Construction of this pack is some of the best I've seen, especially for the price. It's well worth the cost for a medical bag that will last for many, many years.

When I first got this pack. I thought it might be too thin? But this pack can really take some gear. After training at Fort Sam Houston TX. I picked up one of these packs. Best thing I ever did! Highly Recomend!!

I am a combat medic in the Army and after purchasing this bag using it on my most recent deplyment in Aghanistan, I couldn't imagine doing my job with out it! Thanks BDS!
