Received my rig finally took alittle longer then I paid for but for the record it was worth the weight. Took it out of the box and was impressed. Well built sturdy and easy operation. Put it on with weight and walked for miles with it and felt great. Worth the money and I am showing it off at work and maybe I can send them more business. Even though I had to weight longer then I wanted to they were honest with me so there was no issues. Worth the wait.
I currently wear this rig 6-10 times a week for 5+ hours at a time. It is Very functional and comfortable over body armor. My mags are exactly where I need them and as a medic the side pockets hold a fair amount of equipment. Also there is plenty of space to add smaller pouches; flashlight, bib pouch etc... Only draw back is that you cant tighten the back yourself and the straps wont always stay tight. Your back will become extremely strong after wearing armor and this loaded out.
I am very satisfied with my choice of this rig I went with the extra padded shoulder straps and the integrated bladder pouch. It easily slips on over BP vests or plate carriers. The straps slipped some (loosened up) when the vest was empty, but loaded down there was enough resistance on the straps for them to stay put. The extra pals on the front have allowed me to add several Grimlocs that stay tucked between the pouches that I can swivel out to hold extra gear in a pinch. I have NO regrets buying this and the guys I work with keep trying to buy it off me. Hopefully BDS will have a retro bungy retention kit that can be added on soon to replace the ammo pouch flaps as needed.
I love this kit! But I took found the straps too thin and had to tie knots in it to keep it in place. The mags were right where I needed them for reloads and had plenty of attachment points for everything I needed.
Awesome piece of kit. Very well made. Might what to work on the adjustable pull straps though. They tend slide loose under very little pressure. It didn't take long for me to get tired of constantly re-tightening them. So I ended up tying knots in the straps so they couldn't work loose. But aside from that minor problem I am very happy with the rig.
